I was generally a very laid back kid, but standardized testing absolutely destroyed me. I've found now, that, had I been prescribed what I currently take to get me through tough tests, I might have done significantly better without hurting myself. I am, of course, an extreme case. Maybe even coaching on how to relax and focus during these tests would have helped. Even these types of games never made standardized testing any easier on me.
